The Freedom Run Winery Road Race is a USAC sanctioned race

Parking:

Park at Freedom Run Winery in their barn parking lot, not the main parking lot (this will be marked on race day).  Address: 5138 Lower Mountain Rd, Lockport, NY 14094

Course:

The course is a 6.15 mile loop with 214′ of elevation gained each lap. There is one steady climb that is 0.5 mile long, gaining ~100′ elevation, with a 4% average grade. The remainder of the course is mainly flat with some false flat sections on the finishing stretch.

What You Should Expect on Race Day:

1. A USA Cycling Sanctioned race requires more preparation.  Please plan to arrive 60 minutes early to get into your riding clothes and get your bike ready
2. Head over to the registration tent to get your race number and pin it on your jersey according to the instructions,
3. head out on the bike get a few pedal strokes in the legs to warm up
4. Line up in the Taylor Road Park parking lot 5 minutes before your Category’s race time.  Your race will begin at the sound of the chief referee’s whistle!
5. After your race, head back to the parking lot to check on the results.  You have a 15-minute protest period until results are official.  Follow the instructions of the chief referee.
