The BBC and NFBC are collaborating on a group ride to celebrate the life and legacy of Larry Reade. Any BBC or NFBC member may participate. The ride will follow an NFBC route: Lockport-Middleport nearing Larry’s hometown of Barker, NY. Serendipity finds this route on this day to be flat, short (21 or 31 miles) and therefore conducive to a social pace – a parade of sorts – for at least the first 13.2 miles, when the routes split and people can do their own thing. (to allow those who might do this ride to celebrate the life of LR with friends but also want something resembling training). The conversation and storytelling can continue after the split if you like, or back in the parking lot! Full Route can be found on Strava here.
