Join us for a freshening up on criterium racing specific skills!  In a criterium race, like the Buffalo Ohio St Criterium at Resurgence Brewing Company this coming Sunday May 21st, it’s important to know how to corner quickly and safely, and how to ride closely in the group.

Meeting place:

Meet at the parking lot on Ship Canal Pkwy south of Tifft St in South Buffalo, ready to ride at 6pm.

The key points of this clinic will include:

• race format
• riding in the drops and controlling your bike
• cornering
• sprinting
• what do you if you come in contact with someone else’s bike

We’ll end the clinic with a mock race!  Note that the roads at the shipyard are open to traffic (mostly industrial trucks) although traffic is fairly light, so please exercise caution during the clinic.

Bring lights if you are riding to and from the clinic.  Dusk sets in around 8pm
