NOTICE

FRANKLINVILLE FONDO DATE CHANGE TO SUNDAY

Unfortunately, Saturday’s weather forecast is looking less than ideal for the Franklinville Fall Foliage Fondo (F4). The southern tier region features remote roads that highlight the natural beauty of the change of season. The route selected for this ride has been carefully curated to create a state of tranquility. Favorable weather is essential for this transformative journey. Therefore, with a heavy heart, I am announcing the one-day delay of F4. The new date will be SUNDAY 10/10/21 at 10:00AM.

I apologize for the inconvenience and hope you are still able to attend. The meeting place and route will remain the same, Park Square, Frankinville, NY 14737 Ride route: click here.

ADDITIONAL ANNOUNCEMENT

MONGI’S MAPLE FONDO RETURNS

If your fondue appetite isn’t satiated Sunday. I am please to announce the spontaneous return of Mongi’s Maple Fondo on Monday 10/11/21 at 10:00AM. This year, Mongi’s Maple Fondo features a raucous ride from Buffalo, into Zoar Valley, and over to Springville for an “All You Can Eat” pancake stop at Ploetz Maple Farm! This ride will meet at Tipico Coffee on Elmwood Ave, Buffalo, NY. The full route can be found here. All participants will receive a free “Mongi’s Maple Fondo” patch!

Note: Italic font! These rides are designed for endurance cyclists who have pack riding experience. There is no registration, just show, and  we go. Both these rides are UNSUPPORTED. You are responsible for your own supplies (i.e. tubes, pump, food, money, and directions/navigation). Within reason, we will do our best to keep the group together (i.e. fixing a flat and briefly pause after a large climb). If you find yourself struggling in the first ~20 miles, it would be ill advised to continue riding south.
